In summer time in US, you can find these birds in each and every pond, river, lake... dunno what is their name...I took these pics in Minneapolis, MN. There are around 10000 lakes in Minnesota State.  Posted by Hello

These are called Canadian geese, and they can be a real nuisance.

By the way, 'the land of 10000 lakes' actually has 15000 lakes!
